Jacy Thoman

Jacy Spencer Thoman is the assistant director of the Clayton Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance. She assumed this role on April 20, 2020.

Jacy works with the director to support the effort of building and growing the Yeutter Institute across its mission areas of education, research, and outreach, working with faculty in the colleges of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Business, and Law.

Prior to joining the Yeutter Institute, Jacy has gained experience in government and public policy, interning with agricultural trade associations in Washington, D.C., and working for a U.S. Congressman and the Nebraska Department of Agriculture.

Jacy earned her Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with minors in animal science and entrepreneurship. A native of Brewster, Nebraska Jacy grew up on her family ranch.
