Throughout the academic year, the Yeutter Institute works with students interested in international trade, connecting knowledge gained in the classroom with professional development opportunities to help equip them for prospective careers in international trade. Students in the Yeutter Student Fellows program produce individual and team deliverables, including Trade Policy Conversation Starters. These briefing papers are concise primers on new and emerging trade policy issues of relevance to Nebraska and beyond. Each paper considers a current trade policy question and offers background and analysis intended to spur further discussion, inquiry, and research.
During the spring 2021 semester, student fellows will work on team projects that explore new ways to build connections between heartland residents and federal trade policymakers.
