Meredith Bond
DIRECTOR OF THE US COMMERCIAL SERVICE’S OMAHA
Meredith Bond works with clients across Nebraska and southwest Iowa to develop international marketing strategies, locate overseas business contacts and solve export process problems. She collaborates with local trade development organizations and Commercial Service colleagues worldwide to provide customized solutions for U.S. companies. Ms. Bond also serves as a nationwide resource to colleagues and clients in the area of Free Trade Agreements.
Greg Ibach
UNDER SECRETARY IN RESIDENCE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA-LINCOLN’S INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES
Mr. Ibach works to connect UNL Research, Teaching and Extension expertise to current policy initiatives and opportunities at the state and federal government level. He also engages UNL learners interested in public service, the importance of public and private partnerships, and science-informed policy.
Mr. Ibach spent the past three years as USDA’s Under Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs where he carried out the MRP mission area’s broad task of facilitating domestic and international marketing of U.S. agricultural products and ensuring the health and care of animals and plants. Prior to his USDA appointment, Mr. Ibach served as Nebraska’s Director of Agriculture. Mr. Ibach holds a bachelor's degree from UNL in animal science and agricultural economics. He and his wife, Teresa, have three grown children and two granddaughters. They continue to maintain a cow/calf and grain operation in Sumner, NE.
Broderick Lewis
SENIOR MANAGER, REVENUE MANAGEMENT (ASIA EXPORT SOLUTIONS) AT TYSON FOODS.
Broderick Lewis is a resilient, enthusiastic, adaptable global leader with multiple years of experience driving growth and profitability throughout multiple levels of the food supply chain. His broad experience spans from government relations, U.S. export business management, as well as operations management. Currently he holds the position of Senior Manager, Revenue Management (Asia Export Solutions) at Tyson Foods. In the role he is accountable for the profit and loss and for building and executing on U.S. value added export business strategies to East Asia (China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan). Broderick attended Purdue University from 2009-2013 where he earned his (B.S.) in Agricultural Economics.
Anku Nath Mancini
ADVANCED ANALYTICS IN JOHN DEERE’S CAPTIVE FINANCE UNIT
Anku Nath Mancini serves as Manager for Advanced Analytics in John Deere’s captive finance unit where she oversees a data science team focused on modeling and mitigating financial risk. Until October 2018, she served as Deere’s Director for Federal Affairs and Trade Policy through which she had responsibility for policy strategy and advocacy with US executive and legislative bodies, with a specific focus on developing and promoting Deere’s perspectives on US trade policies. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Manager, International Affairs with a focus on trade agreements, Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Before joining Deere, Anku served as Director for Trade Policy Advocacy at the U.S.-India Business Council where she established and led working groups focused on deepening commercial ties in the food, agricultural and retail sectors and ran the Council’s Strategic Trade Initiative. Earlier in her career, Anku worked in the business and economic consulting field for IBM’s Global Business Services unit, as well as two boutique Washington, DC-based firms.
Anku has a BA in International Affairs and an MA in International Trade and Investment Policy from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. She also earned an MSc in Statistics from the London School of Economics.
